Description: Andromeda is generally a very interesting area for deep sky observing. Several nice galaxy groups lie just a few finder fields away, including AGC 347. Abell 262 is one of my personal favourites. This complex galaxy cluster near Andromeda's south border with Triangulum shows many bright NGC galaxies. I was able to identify 46 cluster members with the 18 inch. The most fabulous part is the Y-shaped central region with NGC 703 - 710. The MegaStar chart below shows this central area only (and also the sketch).
