Cluster:    Abell 2199 Her (Abell distance class 1)
Site: Breitenbuch, Odenwald
fst: 6m,5
Instr.: 457/1850-Newton
Mag. 154 , 222
Description: Beautiful galaxy cluster with some pretty bright objects inside. The galaxies are scattered over a 1 area. No. 1 (NGC 6166) is a really bright object: A face on galaxy with a brighter middle. No. 8 is much more difficult then 2 and 3. 27 objects visible. Many stellar or nearly stellar galaxies labeled by GSC (GUIDE) as PGC without magnitude. A corrected MegaStar chart is recommended. (Chart below shows the central region of AGC 2199 only).
