Description: AGC 1257 contains a few very nice galaxies to sketch. Between them a Markarian galaxy (Markarian 423) and even a background quasar (Q1123+356), apparently situated extremely close to the central galaxy and only about magnitude 17! Actually a exceedingly faint stellar object was definetly visible there with 18 inch, however I suppose it must have been a little brighter then 17 mag. I still don't know if this really was that quasar...
